In my opinion, yes. You have to know the basic principles of design in order to make websites and all the designs. You have to know what your client may want and be able to know how to arrange stuff properly. Sure its super important to know the technical part, but it%26#039;s always nice to be able to paint. More experience, better design! Hope that helped!

It would be helpful but not necessary. It would help with your choice of colors in the future.
