Dreamcatchers info?

I%26#039;m doing a art histroy paper on dreamcatchers and I%26#039;m having a difficult time finding how far back the dreamcatcher has been around? I need a specific date and the source of how you know this. I%26#039;m not too reliable on Wikipedia so I want an alternative source. Also with regards to the date of the the dreamcatcher, what art period would it be most close to?
